/// Zealand Harvest Girls work at a Well.
They view stallions all day and can tell
from his very tight pants
he’s not fit for romance.
They would laugh at him au natural.

/// Their expressions are cheerful and knowing.
They’re amused by what Linus is showing.
Like the trough which they fill,
his self-confidence will
be called foolish, because overflowing.

/// Linus hoped to share somebody’s bedding,
but these women insist on a wedding.
As they water his steed,
they remark on his need
to be— even when standing— manspreading.

/// Here he stands in a confident pose—
arms akimbo, legs spread, pointed toes.
Flashes his brightest grin.
Are they tempted to sin?
Sadly, nothing of interest arose.

/// Why do some males put out on display
what they ought to keep hidden away?
Women find more appealing
men whose goal is revealing
who they are by the things that they say.

/// If you wish to compete with a horse,
never race him on foot for, of course,
there’s no way you can win.
And don’t strip to the skin.
Either way you’ll be feeling remorse.
