/// Feliks Cichocki, painter sublime,
yet this portrait gave me a hard time.
Countess Cichocka’s name…
so close, yet not the same.
There’s no way I could get them to rhyme!

/// They’re related somehow, one infers,
(though coincidence sometimes occurs).
The sound heard at the end
may on gender depend.
His name can’t hold a candle to hers.

/// Since Konstancja’s a countess and royal,
Feliks must show respect and be loyal.
Still, I wonder if he
ever felt jealousy.
Did entitlement make his blood boil?

/// As for her blood, we’re told that it’s blue.
As a commoner what can he do?
Well, he does have a trade;
see this portrait he made?
(Just ignore the odd painting called “Jew.”)
