/// In his lab we find Louis Pasteur,
working hard to develop a cure
for why milk tends to spoil.
Are there “germs” in the soil?

/// He claimed microbes are small, thus unseen.
Fight infections by keeping things clean.

/// When he’s working, Pasteur can be short
with his wife and her wishes he’ll thwart.
So she exits his lab
after calling a cab
to avoid Louis’ pointed retort.*
