/// The Well-Master at Medevi Well
and his Two Sons are eager to tell
that each sip brings the feeling
of all-natural healing.
Just ignore the strong mineral smell.

/// Both his sons work beside their papa
at this first Scandinavian spa.
They take pains to ensure
that the waters stay pure
despite mud-baths by Swedes in the raw.

/// Bubbling up from deep down in the earth,
aqua pura augments the well’s worth.
Men bring wives, sons, and daughters
here for “taking the waters,”
(but drink Aquavit which promotes mirth.)

/// Blond son’s water is served in a glass
of fine crystal which gives his drink “class.”
Brother pours from a pitcher,
as does Dad— it looks richer,
but their waters dripped from a crevasse.

/// Many spa guests are eager to know,
“What’s so great about your H2O?”
The Well-Master explains,
“It alleviates pains,
and it makes constipated folks go.”

/// The spa’s water is prized by the knowing.
Word of mouth, (like the water) keeps flowing.
Those who like being snogged,
but they can’t with bowels clogged,
find it helps them out coming and going.

/// Now the Health Center closed, that’s a bummer.
But the waters still flow (with no plumber).
The famed spa that was oldest,
in those lands that are coldest,
still serves mineral water each summer.
