/// With his cap held so no one could look,
the brash fisherman liberties took.
He had forced a wet kiss
on the flummoxed young miss,
so she pushed the pig into the brook.
/// Round her waist his left arm slowly stretches,
demonstrating how “handsy” this letch is.
He ignored pleas to stop
and he forced her to drop
a portfolio of her best sketches.
/// As she pushed him away, the girl thought
that he rarely behaved as he ought.
On the ground where they fought,
were two fish he had bought
from a store to pretend they’d been caught.
/// Shortly after the man and girl clashed,
in the cold, muddy water he splashed.
Though his clothing was trashed,
(and a poor frog got mashed),
he remained smugly calm— unabashed.
/// He’d invited this girl, (quite a dish!),
to come sketch him while he caught some fish.
To demonstrate guts
he acts macho and struts,
but he floundered— that wasn’t her wish.
/// Yet, ironically, this hedonist
could have had her agree to a tryst.
Had he asked to be kissed,
she’d planned not to resist,
but insistence had earned him her fist.
/// That small frog has caused some speculation
as to whether it has some relation
to the Prince who’d been cursed,
and to end it must first
find a girl into frog osculation.
Young Couple in the Woods
/// They’re young, flexible, fearless and free.
So they couple wherever they be:
In the woods; in a boat;
in the stream, (half afloat);
in the uppermost limbs of a tree.
