Info, or perhaps links that point to more info, about this artist can be found here (if truncated, can be read in full for free on Fridays), here, and here (Google translated), perhaps in addition to what’s in his Google translated German Wikipedia page.

/// Five old friends each day gathered for tea,
and to peer out the window to see
the house just cross the alley.
They would keep a close tally
of strange men who, somehow, had a key.

/// Their young neighbor was cute Mrs. Bohm,
and whenever her husband’s not home
handsome men would come calling.
Five voyeurs found enthralling
how she managed to stay in— yet roam.

/// They viewed many Exciting Events,
peeping at Mrs. Bohm and her “gents.”
When the shades weren’t drawn
they admired manly brawn,
and when Bohm came home early… suspense!

/// The five “Golden Girls” Keeping an Eye
on Everything managed to spy
several hasty retreats
of men climbing down sheets
out her window, their clothing awry.

/// Because Bohm’s wife is very “gregarious,”
the girl’s marital state is precarious.
Her men, multifarious,
(each, oddly, Aquarius),
say, “If Bohm catches us, he will bury us!”

/// These gals could have told Bohm what his “treasure”
had been doing at home and at leisure,
but to snitch to the rich
cuckold had one big hitch:
It would terminate their viewing pleasure.

/// This quintet of old gals wouldn’t miss
daily tea-time when each reminisce
about long ago youth,
and the harshly sad truth
that they now savor second-hand bliss.
