for a fine flute duet
with his sis, so he keeps his bird hidden.
/// The youth thinks of his sister as bossy.
She agrees when friends say he’s too saucy.
Here he’s posed looking solemn
on a broken stone column.
As he sits there, his butt’s getting mossy.
/// “Without clothes I feel sharp and alive,
and my music has power and drive.
Besides, why should you care
if I play my flute bare?
We both played that way when we were five.”
