/// Kes, the Girl With the Buffalo, thinks
there’s a reason her beast rarely drinks
from these freshwater seas.
When her Buffalo pees,
then the water he’s standing in stinks.
/// It would now seem that Kes has to go.
She tried holding it in, but thought, “No.”
Pulls her hem higher yet
so her robe won’t get wet,
‘til she’s ready to go with the flow.
/// A new dress has a price out of reach,
so Kes wades in the surf by the beach.
Her wedding’s tonight
and she wants to wear white,
and she’s heard urine acts as a bleach.
/// The girl and her beast are evading
some buffalo thieves who’ve been raiding.
These ruthless attackers
are just so-so trackers.
They make their way homeward by wading.
