Artist info is pointed to in my comment at a prior blog entry. This painting is privately owned. It was auctioned June 27, 2017 (larger © image), and again about a year later by the same auctioneer (page 137 of this).
/// The new glue Wilfred used was too good.
It adhered to his flesh (not just wood).
His attempts to get free
stuck his nose to his knee,
and both shoes to the spot where he stood.
/// You may ask, “Did he ever get free?”
“To escape, was there some magic key?”
No action cohesive
dissolved that adhesive.
It melted when soaked with his pee.
/// By deduction he’s been made aware
of the fate that befell that poor chair.
Those who wear wooden shoes
salvage wood which they use
in their black-market sabot repair.
/// That wood chair, by the way, did get “fixed,”
(although people’s reactions were mixed).
Legs cut short, now a stool.
Wilfred felt like a fool
when he sat there between and betwixt.
