to stand still, with no shakes,
and his manhood’s become a canard.

so his back view is all that is seen.
Yet, because of that pole,
(which aids balance control),
he’s the butt of some jokes which are mean.

/// It is cruel how they snicker and laugh,
as though somehow his pose is a gaffe.
He’d have faced them with pride,
showing his other side.
(No man could measure up to that staff.)

/// He will state with a great deal of pride
that he’s neither too narrow nor wide.
Whether dressed up or nude,
or from which angle viewed,
he believes that they’re all his “good side.”
