Not as much a teacher as I thought.

/// After Victory, home is Sir Knight,
reuniting with fam’ly held tight.
Wife and children crowd round,
(midst the snarls of his hound).
He can’t wait to get back to the fight.
/// For his doddering father gives greeting
dressed in mother’s best clothes for the meeting.
And his youngest sons (two),
from a balcony’s view,
are the proof that his wife has been cheating.
/// The babe held in the air (I am guessing)
is thus being displayed for a blessing
from his “father” below.
But if she should let go
the result would be highly distressing.
/// Later on there will be a parade
for the Knight and his winning brigade.
There are plans to be made
for the next great Crusade,
and the next foreign land to invade.
/// In his armor of bright, shiny metal,
good Sir Knight seems to be in fine fettle.
But when nude on a bench,
servants flee from the stench.
He’d been wearing a slow-cooking kettle.
/// At his castle are women galore,
plus old men and young boys, as of yore.
But the strong, healthy men
haven’t come back again.
Most were lost, maimed, or killed in the war.
