/// Zebadiah called up to Miss Pat,
“You’ve complained that my butt is too flat.
While you watch, I’ll do lots
of reshaping leg squats.”
She ignored him and stared at the cat.
/// Zeb was willing to work for romance,
and to win Pat, he’d take any chance.
In the garden he stands,
pitchfork clutched in his hands,
doing squats so he’ll fill out those pants.
/// Pat looked down on the hand she had hired.
Rustic courtship— (not what she admired).
She remained uninspired
by the way he’s attired,
but it pleased her to be so desired.
/// She regretted remarking last Easter,
(when her cat was trapped ‘til Zeb released her),
that it’s good that he’s tall,
tough, and strong overall,
but it’s such a shame Zeb has no keister.
/// Zeb gets protein from chicken and eggs,
but the squats mainly strengthened his legs,
so he filled out his pants
with two rustic “implants”
made of straw wrapped around mini-kegs.
