/// The boy bitten by a small lizard,
had been trying to cut out its gizzard.
Toe of frog, eye of newt,
were all used in pursuit
of his quest to become a great wizard.
/// The boy claimed, (though it may have been slander),
that the lizard had had a commander
who induced him to bite
that particular night.
The boy fingered (by name), Newt Scamander.
/// With the lizard’s true master obscured,
to his mouth, the boy’s finger he lured.
So the injury’s cause
was the lizard of Oz.
I do hope that the boy is insured.
/// True, some lizard bites do hold a toxin
which could easily kill several oxen.
But what leads to necrosis
is the rank halitosis.
(Stinks like lockers you stored moist gym socks in.)
/// That white pansy he wears in his hair,
and the blouse that leaves one shoulder bare,
do not prove beyond doubt
he’s about to come “out,”
or with which sex he’d have an affair.
/// ‘Twas so long ago, who’s now to say
whether painter or model were gay.
But we do have one answer;
the young model’s a dancer.
See the “Jazz Hands” he puts on display.
